Rebel scum

Rebel-alliance

KidKimura is off up north getting another tattoo by the talented Miss Kerry-Anne Richardson at Cock A Snook today. I am left jealous but excited for him as it will be the first Star Wars themed tattoo either of us have (the first of many no doubt).

Due to the design being a unique take on the Rebel Alliance logo (from what I understand), it is only fitting that I put KidKimura in the right frame of mind to be needle raped by sharing this video with you all.

Yes, you better believe your ears, that IS the Airwolf theme song. You are welcome.

UK Tattoo Industry Awards – Vote NOW!

We posted a little while back about the UK Tattoo Industry Awards, which is being organised by the fine chaps running the Liverpool Tattoo Convention. The nominations are now in and the voting is under way!

There are some amazing artists in the mix. I had the pleasure (and pain, haha!) of being tattooed by Kerry-Anne Richardson a couple of weeks ago (I’ll post pictures soon), and the lady has some serious skills. All of the artists in the top 5 are among the best tattooers in all of the land, but no prizes for guessing who I think you should vote for! You have to register to vote, then you can rate the artists out of 5, which is a great idea for those of you that can’t make up your minds!

So click here and get voting!

TUF 15 cast revealed

The Ultimate Fighter season 15 is set to be one of the most exciting seasons yet. For the first time ever, instead of recording the whole season in advance, each fight will be shown live on FX every friday evening (for you lucky chaps in America-land that is). The season will run for 13 weeks, starting on the 9th of March with a 2 and a half hour special, with all 16 live elimination fights on that first episode, then going back to the usual hourly slot.

The coaches this time round will be UFC bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz and former WEC featherweight champ Urijah Faber. These two fellows have clashed fists twice before, with Faber handing Cruz his first and only loss back in 2007, and Cruz taking a unanimous decision win over Faber last summer. The third scrap will be at UFC 148 in July, and if it’s anything like the last one it’s definitely a must see.

Here is the list of the 32 fighters in with a shot of getting into the house. I’ll admit that outside of the few British lads in there, I don’t really know anything about these chaps. But with 16 fights to watch, and every fighter looking to prove themself, I think it’s safe to say we’re in for a treat.

“Star Boards” charity project

“Star Boards” charity project is probably one of the coolest ideas ever conceived.

Some of the best tattooers in the UK painting/customising skate board decks with Star Wars themed designs, which will then be auctioned off for charity at the Liverpool Tattoo Convention. Great idea right? I thought so. So did 70 artists from around the country, and they have been pulling out all the stops to make this something really special.

Check out some of these pics for examples of the pure awesomeness that these fine chaps have been creating. Look on the website and facebook page for further details, and if you want to have a chance to own one of these boards, check out the Liverpool Convention site.

Dana White’s UFC 144 Vlogs

Tonight’s the night, the UFC’s big return to the land of the rising sun. To get yourself in the mood for violence, have a watch of Dana White’s video blogs leading up to the event. The first one has some behind the scenes footage of fighters after their UFC 143 matches, and the second video shows Dana exploring Japan, and more than a few of the fighters from tonight’s card make an appearance.

God damn it I want to go to Japan so much.
