Countdown to UFC 158: St-Pierre vs Diaz – Full Episode
It’s time to get excited violence fans, GSP and Diaz will finally get to trade leather at UFC 158 tomorrow night!
In the mean time, check out the Countdown show to help get you in the mood. As well as the main event, it takes a look at the Hendricks vs Condit fight, as well as Marquardt vs Ellenberger.
UFC 158: GSP vs Diaz – preview
UFC 158 this weekend is looking like it’s going to be an absolute classic. With GSP finally going up against the dangerous and outspoken Diaz, as well as Johnny Hendricks taking on former interim champ Carlos Condit and Nate Marquardt returning to fight Jake Ellenberger, there will be plenty of guaranteed welterweight violence on offer.
We are big Diaz fans here at MVG, and would love to see him on top of the division. Just imagine all the great fights we could see with such an entertaining champ, as well as watching a super motivated GSP fighting his way back to the top! Diaz brings a unique style to the table that St Pierre has never had to deal with before, and I for one can’t wait to see how this one will pan out.

FREE FIGHTS: Eddie Alvarez vs Michael Chandler
Michael Chandler defends his Bellator Lightweight Championship title tonight. Here are a few videos that provide an insight into how intriguing he is as a person and a fighter.
First up is the fight of the year contender in which he won the title from Eddie Alvarez. A back and forth war of mental and physical stress that was unfairly overshadowed by a UFC event that provided an equally great main event.
Heading into the bout, Alvarez was on a seven fight win streak and touted as the best lightweight outside of Zuffa’s control. Chandler was a serious underdog as he was a relative newcomer to MMA and hadn’t accrued the top level experience that his opponent owned. Nevertheless, Chandler was on an undefeated tear of his own, showing signs of great potential winning a very competitive Bellator Lightweight tournament to reach this pinnacle and earning the shot at the title.

Free fights – Invicta FC 4
Last nights Invicta FC 4 event is now available to watch in full, completely free of charge. The 4th event from arguably the top all-female promotion in the world was headlined by a fight between Carla Esparza and Bec Hyatt for the vacant Strawweight title.
If you’ve seen any of the previous 3 events, you’ll know what to expect: high paced, exciting fights, between some of the very best female mixed martial artists on the planet. This card features some very talented Modern Violent Gentlewomen indeed.
HBO Boxing 2012 Yearender
It is new years eve and what better way to end the year than to reflect on some of the great boxing match ups of the past twelve months. HBO have hosted some action packed and fierce fights this year and chose to feature seven of them for free online. Although this is not visible from our UK region, there are other ways to acquire the couple of fights on their list that I haven’t seen (F#*k you HBO).
For now, this simple taster video will have to serve as a reminder of these incredible fights.

We’re kinda late (ok MEGA late) seeming as Movemver ended 3 weeks ago, but I couldn’t not post this.
Bleacher Report posted this list of the Top 10 Moustaches in MMA history, featuring several of my own personal heroes. This list just goes to show how a moustache can transform a normal human into a king among men.
I am certain that Don Frye’s moustache is the root of all his power. Like Samson, only not a hippy.
